Bordeaux : Inventions & Innovations through the centuries

You already know Bordeaux? Yes, but...

Yes maybe you have lived in Bordeaux or the region for a long time but did you know that it is in the outskirts of Bordeaux that the roll lawn was invented in the 80's? Have you ever heard about the electric ground power supply for the tramway network and do you know the difficulties that had to be faced ?  And what about the wine bottle label: did you know that it was invented by a Bordeaux lithographer?

I propose a 3 km long walking tour through the streets of Old Bordeaux to evoke together the great known or less known inventions that marked the history of the capital city of Gironde.
